Canvas Bag with Cricut EasyPress 2

Happy Thursday everyone!
Guys, did you hear?  The EasyPress 2 is now available for sale!  Yay!  Click here for more details.  They do come in three different sizes - 6x7, 9x9 and 12x10.  I was lucky enough to play with all the sizes when I attended the Cricut Mountain Maker Thon a few weeks back.

Today I'm excited to share a super cute project using the EasyPress2 in the 12X10 size.  We are creating this really cute colorful school bag.

The EasyPress 2 is so easy to use.  It heats up in about 60 seconds up to 400 degrees, the ceramic-coated heat plate gives off even heat for amazing transfers.  With three new different sizes, the EasyPress 2 is perfect for all projects large and small.

Cricut provides a helpful EasyPress setting guide.  Click here for details.
So let's get started.  First, you need the following supplies:

1. Create saying or word in the Cricut Design Space.   Or you can use my design, you can find it in the Cricut community.
2. Use project colors.  Be sure to use the group and attach features.  This will ensure the machine will cut each color on a different mat.
3.  Select your material
4.  Remember to mirror your image.  You will need to do this for each mat.
5.  Cut
6.  Use the Cricut Bright Pad to help with weeding.
6.  Place the iron on vinyl onto the canvas bag.
Line up everything and ue the EasyPress 2 to iron on the layers of Everyday vinyl.
7.  Peel off iron on sheet.  Please remember, each time you add a layer of new vinyl, you must cover any vinyl that has already been attached to the material.  You can just use the protective sheet to do this as needed.
8.  Remember to set material by ironing the back as instructed in the Cricut setting guide.

Please note, Cricut has a StrongBond Guarantee, to ensure your iron-on material sticks and continues to stick after many, many washes.

I love this project, and I hope you enjoyed it too.  Please leave a comment letting me know which EasyPress 2 is your favorite?
