Desk Organization: Big TO DO Notepad

Meant to be Sent has some of the greatest stationery products.  I've purchased a few notepads from them and let me tell you....the paper stock, the gold edges...I love everything.  I purchased a notepad called the Big Ta Do Pad List.  "This is no ordinary notepad, it's oversized, measuring 7 X14 inches, gold edges, and on heavy paper stock.  The days of the week are perforated into sections for easy on the go lists or keep them all together to see your week at a glance.

So my problem?  I have a small work area and I really can't have this on my desk.  So I thought I could maybe hang it on the wall.  Here's how I did it.

I measured the pad with a ruler to find the middle.

Mark the center and drill the hole.

I sanded the hole just a little to make the front of the notepad smooth, and then just hung it up on the wall in front of my desk.

This was a super easy project and I can keep my favorite notepad at my desk without taking up space directly on the desk.  This is not a sponsored post I'm just sharing something I adore and I hope you will too.  Head on over and take a look at other Meant to Be Sent Items.  Have a great Thursday!

Gifts Just Because

I have many people around who continue to inspire me and encourage me to do my best and sometimes convince me to do things I never thought I could do.  I'm always looking for small gifts just to say thank you.  I love stationery (yes,  I know, you are well aware) - I also love to give stationery as gifts.   I created this really quick gift and I wanted to show you how simple it is to create something special for the special people in your life.

Here are the supplies used:

Pencils (Traget Dollar Spot)
Printed Stationery - find similar from a previous post here
Ribbon
Small piece of twine
Alpha Stickers
Small Hand Saw
So I gathered my supplies and went to work.  I measured the tin container.  Then cut the pencils to 4 inches with a small hand saw.  I wrapped the pencils with twine.  I then took the stationery, cut to fit into the tin (my stationery measured 3.5 X 4 inches) and placed those in the tin.  Close the tin and add a ribbon, then decorate with a round tag and stickers.

Fold the tissue paper so you have about 6 layers and then just punch.  Yes punch and then you have confetti!  What?!?!?  I know so super easy.  I hope you find this quick tutorial helpful.  You can see how I used the confetti in a Creative & Fun Gift Idea post for The Eighteen 25 Girls - click here
