Happy Admin's Day Card

I just created this card really, really quick...it was so easy. The saying was printed, I then added colorful ribbon and rhinestones to match the ribbon.

I've NEVER created an admin's day card - and I have worked as an Executive Assistant for many years...so I really can't explain that one...but today is the day. I want to say Happy Admin's Day to all of the assistants out there that have super awesome bosses (like me), and those who must deal with crazy people in the office on a daily basis. Those who have added nurse, furniture mover, copier repair person, errand runner, message taker, lost and found person, person who must find the person who left their car on running all day in the parking lot, facilities coordinator and peace maker to your resume. LOL!

congratulations from Tisa's Creations

I really want to thank everyone for coming out to The Lone Star Ladies Shop Austin Event yesterday. I was able to meet so many new people, and saw so many friends, I really had a great time! And now I can start working on my fall craft show schedule.

I did have a drawing at my table yesterday and one lucky customer has won a $20 gift certificate to Tisa's Creations....the winner is:
Ashley Terry - congrats!

While my daughter drew the name, she was so excited, she wanted to pick one more, so I'm also giving a $10 gift certificate also...and the winner for this drawing is:
Candace Henderson - congrats!

...what are boys made of?

Something new from the Cutting Cafe. I'm always drawn to more 'girlie' stamp sets and most of the time those are the ones that I tend to create with...but I wanted to challenge myself and I think this card turned out really great...no glitter, no rhinestones, just a little ribbon, but no bows are knots! YIKES, is this really a design by Tisa? Yep it is...head on over to the Cutting Cafe to pick up this set for yourself. Enjoy!

Here are the details:
Stamp Set: All About Boys - Cutting Cafe
Paper: SU!: Black, Bashful Blue, White, Certainly Celery
Patterned Paper: DCWV
Accessories: buttons, random ribbon

I know it's a little early for father's day but I really do love these assorted coupons Regina over at the Cutting Cafe created. I can't wait to play a little more with this set...here is the card I came up with...very simple but I think it's masculine (it's really hard for me to create more masculine cards). I made a cute little tie with just brown grosgrain ribbon. I think my husband would love to get this from the kids for father's day...enjoy!

Paper: SU! Chocolate Chip
Patterned Paper: American Craft A La Carte

...feels good to wake up a few minutes early to blog. This card I made this past weekend - I will also have these for sale at the Lone Star Ladies: Shop Austin Event...details later, but for now just enjoy. By the way, have you purchased your tickets for the Shop Austin Event?

This will be the last pre-show sneak peek. You will need to attend the Shop Austin event to see more. Have a great day!
