My house is really small...this is why I don't have pictures of my studio...because I don't have one, I just take over in any spot I can find...but don't worry, my honey is working on that for me!  One day...I will have an amazing studio.  Any I need more space, as usual.  So we decide to store some of my items in the garage.  We will only store things things that are wrapped and all of my packaging material.  So here are the before and after pictures...oh forgot to mention I only paid $60 for this at my Home Depot...it took me about 20 min to put it together

Thanks Margaret and Clarence!

Martha Cole and Elaine Peterson are having their annual SPRING JEWELRY AND GIFT SHOW at Martha's home: 5915 Highland Hills Drive, Austin
Friday, April 24: 12-4 pm: Shop during the day!

Saturday, April 25: 9 am- 2 pm: Bring a friend, get a free goodie!

Even with a "down" economy, we've come UP with some adorable, affordable creations that will brighten your look, but won't put a damper on your pocketbook! Martha's style is whimsical, colorful and playful, with lots of handcrafted, ethnic and vintage beads... and Elaine's style is sparkly and elegant, with beautiful accents in crystals and pearls. Our guest artist this spring is TISA JACKSON of TISA'S CREATIONS, with her adorable handstamped cards, stationery and more. You'll love them!

You can see a sampling of Martha's jewelry at MotsDots.Etsy.com and NotSoDotty.Etsy.com. Tisa's online shop is TisasCreations.Etsy.com

Directions to Martha Cole's house: From Mopac, take the 2222/Northland exit and go west on 2222. The first light you'll come to is Balcones Drive. DO NOT turn on Balcones (so don't be in the far right turn lane), but turn on the first street right after Balcones: Highland Hills Drive, a residential street that shoots off to the right. Once you're on Highland Hills Drive, it'll make a fork. Bear left to stay on HHD (just follow the yellow stripe), and wind around several blocks. House will be on the right: 5915 Highland Hills Drive. Call if you get lost: 453-2650.

Hope to see you at the show!

OMG! New Soap, Old Bottle?

ok, ok, ok I'm so excited and I really can't figue out why, but take a look at these cute little recycled dispensers...what a simple yet brilliant idea!
New Soap, Old Bottle - NSOB sells brand name liquid soap packaged in old plastic soda bottles, plastic water bottles and glass beer bottles - each bottle is cleaned, sanitized and processed for reuse as packaging for your favorite brand of liquid soap. You could do this on your own and feel free to try it out. Not only do they sell the liquid in the bottles, they sell the spray, pump, and squeeze tops (all tops are child safe). But for those shoppers who’d prefer to buy rather than make, place an order. click here for more info and to shop online. Yes, I placed an order, it was really simple and check out is done via paypal.
(I saw this on Design Sponge, great blog, you all should check it out!)

i would like to make a toast...should you toast with coffee cups...

...well I am...ummmmm (continuing) I would like to make a toast, to a great host and hostess in Oklahoma City this past Spring Break. My sister (her blog) and her husband showed my kids and I a wonderful time during our visit. I can't wait to go back.

So...you all know that I love to have coffee with my sister, if we lived near one another I think we would have coffee or tea together every single day...seriously. Any-who here is a picture of our two coffee cups - yes, she was knitting and I was checking email...it was GREAT!

busy again this weekend

...well I had two orders that I needed to get done and in the mail today...I love making cards and stationery...it's hard work and it takes so much of my time, but I really do love doing this. One day I will be able to work for myself.

Take a look at my work:

I love the wedding invite...the bride requested pearls instead of rhinestones...it adds the perfect touch.

And then...the baby shower invites...I love them. The ribbon is amazing...too bad my vendor may not carry this style anymore, I found another vendor with simlar ribbon...I will upload a pic as soon as I get it in the mail. Have a super great weekend!

new to the Tisa's Creations family...

...everyone, I would like you to meet my latest creation...magnets.  I love these glass tile magnets...here is a sneak peak, they will come in a package of 4 small ones and 2 large ones...I'm not going to add them to my shop for another month or so...right now I'm getting ready for an event on April 4th at Grapevine Market in North Austin.  I'm soooooo super excited!!!  I will share more details as the day gets closer, and you never know what specials I might have for my blog readers that day...
have a great nite everyone.

let me know if you need tickets...

...to any event!  Just kidding, but I did make these cute little party invites - they are so cute, they look like an event ticket - These are for my friend's grandson.  I didn't think they would turn out, but I ended up loving them...I'm thinking abou selling these in my etsy shop...whatcha think?  I'm sure the party will be fun!

do you know the real Tisa?

I think most people know that I will pretty much say what's on my mind without thinking or will give you an awful look...my mom hates that about me. I've come up with a line of cards called - not so nice notes. You can find them here. I think or say these phrases everyday, well expect the one that says it's too early to talk to me, I'm really working on that one, seriously...the cards, they aren't so nice, but I have a great little laugh when I read them....

they read:

it's too early to talk to me, so don't
oh crap, I forgot
i'm rolling my eyes, and I hope you noticed

They come in a package of 5 and can be purchased as a set as shown here, or you can purchase an entire set with one of the phrases. They are printed on 100lb card stock, and come with white envelopes...

I mean seriously, I love this place...I could go there once a week and spend hours there, just like:

my special paper store

Hobby Lobby

ok, you get the picture...anyway, now I know the prices can be a little (what's the right word) aggresive, but when there is a sale, for me the ideas are endless! I've been looking for storage for my stationery and cards...something that would be easy to carry to craft fairs...look what I bought.......
I purchased the larger one, it measures 17-1/4" x 14" x 6" h - YES everyone, 6 inches high...I'm going to be able to fit so much into these and the best part is, you can lift them like a suitcase and just carry it with you...I only bought 3, I think may go back and get 3 more!
